Accessibility Support

Functional vision assessments, learning media assessments, and expanded core curriculum are essential components of vision services. Our direct TVI services and IEP consultation & support cater to ensuring that each student's unique needs are met.

Assistive Technology assessments play a crucial role in vision services, ensuring that students receive the support they need. Additionally, accessible educational materials, such as braille support and tactile graphics & 3D printed maps, are essential components that enhance learning opportunities.

Tailored training on vision services, Professional Crisis Management (PCM), district consultation, and customized workshops/in-service training, all designed to enhance student empowerment programs.

Lisa Snyder

Bio

 A National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), Certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI), and Assistive Technology Specialist with more than 30 years of experience supporting  students with visual impairments and complex learning needs. She has  served students from early intervention through high school, provided  district-level consultation, and specializes in assistive technology,  teacher coaching, and educational accessibility. Lisa holds two master's  degrees in special education with concentrations in learning  disabilities, inclusion, differentiated instruction, and teaching  students with visual impairments.

Tactile & Sensory Materials

Our tactile and sensory materials are designed to remove barriers and expand independence for people with vision impairments. We customize and 3D print materials to make literacy and learning accessible through touch.
